Gujarat's weather has attracted so many to this attractive part of India, where
the skies are always blue, the breeze is always cool, and the sun beams high. OK,
it can get hot and humid in the summer with our tropical climate. Nights usually
offer pleasant relief from the hot days. In the winter, air billowing down from
North-West, can drop the temperature about 30 degrees during the nights. Rainfall
occur from June to August, is mostly from thundershowers, with fairly large amounts
falling within short periods of time. Winds prevail from the south-west throughout
rest the year. Destructive winds are infrequent. On rare occasions, tropical storms
affect the costal areas with strong winds and heavy rains. Average temperatures
in summer vary from 30 degrees to 45 degrees Centigrade and in Winter they vary
between 2 degrees to 35 degrees Centigrade.
